3 MAIN AREAS OF FOCUS
Protecting the Taxpayer
Alvin residents are feeling the financial strain—rising property taxes, increasing insurance costs, and slow wage growth is making it harder for families to get ahead. Fiscal responsibility and transparency aren’t just promises; they’re a commitment. Every tax dollar must deliver real results, not wasteful bureaucracy. I will work to eliminate unnecessary spending and ensure every budget decision benefits the community. Taxpayers deserve leadership that works for them, and I am committed to holding our city government accountable for responsible, effective spending that improves lives.
Supporting First Responders
As a Firefighter and Public Information Officer, I have seen firsthand the challenges our community faces. From addiction crisis to growing emergency service demands, Alvin is at a crossroads. We cannot afford to lose talented first responders to better-paying neighboring cities. Retention in our Police Department is a major concern, and our EMS is overwhelmed with mutual aid requests, putting both residents and responders at risk. A city cannot thrive without strong public safety. I am committed to ensuring our first responders have the resources, training, and support they need to protect our community.
Support Small Businesses
Alvin has a reputation for being difficult for businesses due to burdensome permitting, red tape, and slow development processes. As a business owner of 20 years, I know firsthand the frustrations of navigating these challenges. Small businesses drive our economy, creating jobs and opportunities for our community. It’s time to make Alvin a place where businesses want to grow—not one they avoid. I will work to streamline permitting, modernize processes with better technology, and improve communication between city departments and business owners. By fostering a business-friendly environment, we can encourage sustainable growth that benefits our entire community.
Alvin’s best days are ahead, but only with bold leadership that puts people first. Together, we can build a fiscally responsible government, a safer community, and a thriving local economy.
Locals focused on local issues.
Our city doesn’t need massive budgets or higher taxes to thrive—we need a culture of neighbors supporting neighbors and leaders who take action. Alvin deserves leaders who are deeply involved in our community, from public service to nonprofit support, from small businesses to city government.
I’m committed to standing up for what’s right and ensuring our city moves in the right direction. With a proven record of service and leadership, I’m ready to work with residents to solve issues and shape a brighter future for Alvin. Let’s build a city that works for everyone—together.

I have been proud to serve as a volunteer firefighter for many years and I plan to continue serving regardless of the election outcome. Serving my community in their time of need is something that I hold dear to my heart.
I serve as a firefighter and also as the department’s Public Information Officer, where I communicate important updates to the public regarding emergencies, traffic incidents, and safety concerns. Additionally, I act as the department’s Public Education Officer, working throughout the year to educate children and seniors on fire safety and prevention.
Honored to be recognized by fire department vote as the 2023 Firefighter of the Year.
In the fire service, we train relentlessly to be ready for moments that matter most—the times when people are facing what may be the worst day of their lives. In those moments, we must move with precision, act with accountability, and above all, lead with compassion. Every call, every challenge, and every lesson has shaped me into who I am today.
The fire service has instilled in me the ability to remain calm under pressure, make critical decisions in stressful situations, and serve with unwavering dedication. These experiences have prepared me not only to protect and support my community in times of crisis but also to represent our city with the same focus, integrity, and commitment.
Serving isn’t just a duty—it’s a calling. And I am honored to continue answering that call.
Small Businesses Strength
Celebrating 20 years of keeping Alvin rolling along at Alvin Skate N Party.
Owning a small business is no easy task. With 50% of small businesses closing within their first year and 90% within five, reaching 20 years of success is not just an achievement—it’s a miracle, a blessing, and a testament to hard work, leadership, and unwavering community support.
What started as a small skating rink hosting a few birthday parties each weekend has grown into a thriving family entertainment center, serving over 1,000 events a year and welcoming more than 50,000 guests annually. We have worked tirelessly to provide a fun, safe, and affordable place for families in Alvin to create lasting memories.
Beyond the day-to-day operations, owning a small business has shaped me into a stronger leader. I’ve worked closely with the city to ensure our facility meets all necessary permits, codes, and safety regulations—because a successful business isn’t just about growth, it’s about responsibility. Navigating these processes has given me a deep understanding of how businesses and government must collaborate to create a thriving, safe community.
Additionally, I’ve learned firsthand that no business succeeds alone. It takes teamwork, training, and the support of others to build something lasting. From employees to local partnerships, success is always a shared effort. While I no longer spend as much time with customers, I take great pride in the professional and dedicated team that carries out our mission every day.
Over the years, we have faced many challenges—from devastating hurricanes that tested our resilience to the unjust and crippling lockdowns of COVID-19 that deemed us “non-essential.” Yet, through it all, we stood strong.
We have persevered. We have grown. And we have never wavered from our mission—to be a place where families can come together, laugh, skate, and make memories together.
